The Web Adventure Park / Creepy Crawlies is a great family-friendly attraction near York. It’s located on the outskirts of York just off the A1237. Prebooking is currently essential.
Web Adventure Park Things To Do
They have luckily now increased the size of their parking and although it’s now a longer walk from the parking to the entrance it means that it’s no longer a stress trying to find a parking space.
The outside area at Web Adventure Park is excellent. There is a ride-on area for under 5’s and another track for slightly older kids with lots of ride-on tractors. They have a large sand play area that also has water and plenty of buckets and spades (not shown in the photo below).
There are things to climb on including a large web type frame and a rope bridge. The water play area is excellent and lots of fun. There are buttons to press in different ways that activate the water. Do take a change of clothes if your kids are likely to get wet.
When we prebooked we also paid for some animal food. They have a small section of animals at the back of the park. The fairground rides have now been moved to where the animals were and the animals are now further back at the park with some new enclosures. They have goats you can feed and a few other animals you can say hi to.
Web Adventure Park, York | Review Guide
They have added new fairground rides which are included in the admission price. These would mostly suit kids aged 3-8. There are various rides/attractions included and you can go on them as much as you want. There is no limit. The rides seem to change throughout the year.
Creepy Crawlies Soft Play
Creepy Crawlies is the indoor play area. It is filled with separate Play Zones including a baby and toddler soft play area plus a multi-level soft play area for children age 5 and over. They also have a role play village with a shop, cottage, vets and a DIY store.
Plus there is a sports arena, a disco area, ball cannons and a Ninja type course. It’s a great space to play and even adults can join in. Be warned that the tables fill up quickly on busy days. There are loads but you need to try to get a table by at least 11 am. The photo below shows just one small back section.
Wired High Ropes
Wired High Ropes is an amazing, challenging and fun place to visit with two main attractions, ‘Wired’ and ‘Summit’. It has a number of different activities such as a climbing wall, a leap of faith and a gladiator challenge.
